Dr. Hui Ding works in Beijing Obstetric and Gynecology Hospital. She is the vice president /chief physician with a master degree of medical science. Dr. Hui Ding has acquired the National prize of the scientific achievement. Now she is in charge of research & training center for Mother-Baby Health and Female Health-Care, WHO, as the vice director; and also as the academy member of China Woman-children Health-care center, CDC, Ministry of Health of The People' s Republic of China, academy member of Chinese Obstetrics and Gynecology Association.
Dr. Hui Ding has practiced in the field of maternal and child health for more than 26 years. She is engaged in the research of safe motherhood and baby, occupational stress management, prevention and treatment of common female diseases, health-care of adolescence, women pregnant and after delivery.
Dr. Hui Ding has set up the First sub-health care center in china, with the thought of precaution first, health-care systematically; she initiated the combination of physical-care, emotional-care and nutrition-care. She is professional in medical consulting and health promotions that provide individual stress manage program, weight-losing program, and anti- aging program. In Recent years, Dr. Hui Ding has given medical and health lectures to more than 70,000 people among 210 big companies and units. Dr. Hui Ding has published 20 academy articles, edited 12 medical books, and acquired three prizes of scientific of achievement of Beiiing government, three prize of scientific of achievement of Ministry of health, one national prize of scientific.
Ø Introduction of Beijing MCH Hospital
Both as a specialized MCH hospital led by Beijing Health Bureau and as a MCH technical guiding center in Beijing, it was integrated the former Beijing Women’s Health institution, Beijing Family Planning research Institute and Beijing Child’s Health Institution into Beijing MCH Hospital in June 2002. And now the Beijing OB &GY Hospital and Beijing MCH Hospital have a same Party Committee. In order to fulfill Law of the Peoples Republic of China on Maternal and Infant Health Care, Action programme for children in Beijing and Action programme for women in Beijing. Beijing MCH hospital makes every efforts on reducing MMR, IMR and improving the quality of newborn following the essential MCH principle: Centering on health care, Aiming at reproductive health protection, Combining health care with clinic work, Focusing on population, focusing on grassroots and emphasizing on precaution. It is responsible for carrying out MCH services and managements all over Beijing. The responsibility is to provide evidence-based suggestions to Beijing Health Bureau for decision
Ø Making on MCH policies and technical rules based on study of setting up MCH service and management model and needs assessment among different groups of women.
Ø Responsibilties of Beijing MCH Hospital
Ø 1. Fulfill the national MCH law and the Action programmes of women and children, implement MCH rules, guidelines and policies made by MoH and Beijing Health Bureau.
Ø 2. Being responsible for standard and rules making on MCH services, managements and implementation, quality control, monitoring and evaluation of the routine work.
Ø 3. By regularly carrying out the epidemiological surveys and investigations to learn the health status of the women and children in Beijing and provide evidences to local government and health bureau for decision-making.
Ø 4. Making and implementing MCH programme by assisting the Beijing Health Bureau.
Ø 5. Being responsible for MCH services guidance and managements.
Ø 6. Being responsible for organizing MCH staffs training and assessment.
Ø 7. Being responsible for MCH information collection, analysis, statistics, quality control, report and feedback.
Ø 8. Being responsible for MCH health education and health promotions.
Ø 9. Being responsible for carrying out relative studies and implement suitable MCH techniques.
Ø 10. Conducting series clinical services to provide personal MCH services to women.
